Eugen Popescu

Eugen Popescu began their career in 2006 as a C++ Programmer at ITC Networks. In 2008, they began freelance web development as a PHP Web Developer. In 2012, they joined AMOMA.com as a Senior PHP Developer, developing the internal management core and integrating XML webservices. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Bitterstrawberry as a Software Architect and Senior PHP Developer, optimizing and refining implementations, researching solutions based on the latest technologies, and abstracting common components. In 2016, they joined Irresistible Me as a Senior Software Engineer, working on Magento development and optimization. In 2017, they joined Crossrider Plc as a Software Architect and Twispay as a Software Architect Team Lead. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Celilo Group Media as a Development Team Lead and at Cherry as a Project Manager Technical Lead.

Eugen Popescu has a diverse educational background. Eugen obtained a Licentiate degree in Information Technology Project Management from Universitatea Româno-Americană din București in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Politehnica University of Bucharest for Computer Science. Eugen also holds a High School degree from National Colege of Informatics Tudor Vianu, Bucharest in Informatics, which they obtained in 2000. Additionally, they have a CCNA certification from Cisco.
