Rachel Hlavay

Rachel Hlavay has accumulated over 20 years of work experience in development operations and major gifts management. From 2000 to 2006, they worked as the Major Gifts Manager at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. In 2006, they transitioned to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation where they initially served as the Manager of Development Operations until 2011. Rachel then advanced to become the Director of Development Operations and held this role until the present day.

Rachel Hlavay completed their high school education at Harborcreek High School from 1991 to 1995. Rachel then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Allegheny College from 1995 to 1999.
