Reba Carruth

Reba Carruth serves as a Research Fellow at the Chesapeake Climate Action Network since January 2022, following a comprehensive academic tenure as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University from January 2013 to November 2021. In this role, Reba developed and taught courses on climate policy, engaging with various stakeholders in the field of renewable energy and sustainability. Reba also served as a Fulbright Policy Project Specialist at the University of Heidelberg, where major contributions were made to US-German cooperation on climate issues. Previous experience includes a position as an Assistant Professor at George Washington University, where Reba directed projects on transatlantic policy cooperation, and earlier roles in market research and international development at Honeywell Inc. and the International Development Cooperation Agency. Reba holds a PhD in Sociology and Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree in International Relations from American University.
