Gerrad Alex Taylor is a Resident Teaching Artist at the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. Gerrad has also worked as a Teaching Artist with the Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where they taught Shakespeare classes in the Performing and Visual Arts Program. Prior to that, they worked as an Actor with the Great River Shakespeare Festival, where they appeared in productions of "Hamlet," "Merry Wives of Windsor," "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead," and "Henry V." Gerrad has also worked as a Player with the Children's Theatre of Annapolis.

Gerrad Alex Taylor has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Performance from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University.
