Mark Norman Engtech Mimeche

Mark Norman EngTech MIMechE is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing mechanical systems and components. Currently employed at Chess Dynamics Ltd since December 2020, Mark utilizes Solidworks for the design of precision tracking and surveillance systems while providing mechanical support at the Plymouth site and for the parent company in Horsham, UK. Prior experience includes a role at Babcock International Group, where systems for mechanical services at Devonport Royal Dockyard were developed using AutoCAD and Inventor. Mark also spent 16 years at Kawasaki Precision Machinery (UK) Ltd, initially as a Product Design Draughtsman and later as a Product Design Engineer, focusing on product analysis, stress analysis, and design improvements. Earlier career stages included a position as a Mechanical Design Draftsman at Applied Automation (UK) Ltd. Mark holds an HNC in Mechanical Design and Manufacture from City College Plymouth and a BTEC National Diploma in Engineering from Yeovil College, complemented by an OND in Engineering from the Royal Navy.
