Carl Adkins, FACHE has worked in various healthcare organizations throughout their career. Carl started as a Supervising Senior Accountant at KPMG from 1984 to 1987. Carl then served as an Administrative Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 1989. From 1990 to 1992, they worked as a Business Manager for Nursing Services at Methodist Hospital.

In 1993, Adkins joined Fox Chase Cancer Center, where they held multiple roles, including Oncology Program Manager and Administrative Director of Ambulatory Care. During their time at Fox Chase Cancer Center, they oversaw the management integration of the cancer registry with Virtua West Jersey Hospitals and implemented a scheduling program for over 100,000 appointments annually.

Adkins joined St. Francis Medical Center in 2002 as the Director of Fox Chase Cancer Center. In this role, they managed the Department of Radiation Oncology and led strategic planning, development, and operations for the cancer center. Carl also identified a quality improvement opportunity in radiation physics and executed a contract with a new vendor to meet service quality standards.

From 2004 to 2006, Adkins served as the Program Director of Oncology at MAIN LINE HEALTH LANKENAU MEDICAL CENTER, where they directed the oncology program with a significant revenue and expense budget.

In 2006, they became a Consultant at St. Francis Medical Center, where they prepared for the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer survey and achieved Accreditation with Commendation. Carl conducted a strategic assessment of the cancer program and participated in the implementation of recommendations.

Finally, Adkins joined Chester County Hospital/Penn Medicine in 2008 as the Vice President of Ancillary Services. Carl provided leadership to various ancillary services and oversaw a large outpatient revenue budget.

Throughout their career, Adkins has consistently demonstrated their expertise and leadership in the healthcare industry.

Carl Adkins, FACHE earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from William & Mary in 1984. Carl then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business between 1987 and 1989.
