Jason Messinger

Jason Messinger has extensive experience in music education, currently serving as a Music Teacher at Chester Upland School District since August 2013, where instruction includes general music, chorus, and band for elementary students in Pre-K to 6th grade. Prior to this, Jason was the Music Director at the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley from January 2012 to July 2017, where responsibilities included directing music for children's youth theater groups and assisting with technical aspects of productions. Jason also held a position as a Music Teacher at Chester Upland School District for 11th grade General Music classes during the 2010-2011 school year. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Portland (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from York College of Pennsylvania (2006-2010).
