Helen Dean

Helen Dean has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Currently, they are working as the Head of Marketing at Chester Zoo, where they lead multiple teams and implements strategies to achieve commercial and conservation targets. Prior to this, they worked at the BBC as a Content Discovery Lead and Strategic Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for developing marketing campaigns and driving behavior change in women's sports and tackling online hate in sports. Before the BBC, Helen served as a Senior Director Client Services at BJL and Global Account Director at TBWA London. Helen also has experience in account management, having worked at VCCP, Ogilvy Australia, and Grey Group. Additionally, Helen has a background in athletics as a sprint hurdles athlete and has achieved notable accomplishments in the field.

Helen Dean started their education at Loughborough University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Science and Management. Later, in 2006 to 2007, they attended London South Bank University and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Marketing.
