Josetta Jones

Josetta Jones is an accomplished legal and diversity professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate governance. At Chevron since February 2002, Josetta has held multiple key positions, including Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Chief Patent and Trademark Counsel for Downstream, Chemicals & Midstream, and Managing Counsel for the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to Chevron, Josetta served as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO from 1998 to 2002 and worked as an Environmental Engineer at LyondellBasell from 1992 to 1994. Josetta holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, an LL.M. in Patent Law and Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School, and a JD from Texas Southern University.
