Maximiliano Giraldo

Maximiliano Giraldo is a seasoned professional in the field of petroleum engineering, with extensive experience gained from a notable tenure at Chevron from January 2015 to October 2020. In the role of Characterize and Develop Vaca Muerta Team Leader, Maximiliano orchestrated and supported the El Trapial Vaca Muerta Development program, focusing on developing type curves and the R2R2P strategy while coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve alignment on objectives. Prior experiences include serving as an Unconventional Vaca Muerta Reservoir Engineer, where business development and new venture strategies in the Vaca Muerta Shale and other Latin American opportunities were supported and analyzed, and as a Senior Reservoir Engineer, providing technical advice and leadership to engineers and earth scientists. Academically, Maximiliano holds an MSc in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production from Heriot-Watt University and an Ingeniero Quimico degree from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
