Shashvat Doorwar

Shashvat Doorwar is a Reservoir Engineer at Chevron, having joined the company in June 2015. Prior to this role, Shashvat completed a PhD in Petroleum Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on unstable flow in porous media from August 2009 to May 2015. During this time, Shashvat conducted significant research on improved oil recovery methods for viscous heavy oil using Alkali-Surfactant Flooding. Additionally, Shashvat gained practical experience as a Recovery Mechanism Lab intern at TOTAL in 2012, where dynamic pore scale experiments were conducted to visualize low salinity mechanisms in porous media. Shashvat holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, obtained in 2009.
