Debbie Laney

Debbie Laney is an experienced metallurgical professional with a strong background in management and technical roles within the mining and chemical industries. Currently serving as Metallurgical Manager at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since May 2017, Debbie has held significant positions such as Process Manager at Newmont Mining Co. and Research & Development Manager at Nalco. Active in the Women's Mining Coalition as a Past President and advisory committee member, Debbie's career includes leadership roles in various companies, notably as Metallurgical/Technical Superintendent at Robinson - Quadra Mining and Jerritt Canyon - Independence Mining Co., among others. Debbie obtained both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Montana Technological University and has a foundational education from Butte High School.
