Mayssa Nahlawi

Mayssa Nahlawi is an experienced Arabic <> English translator and interpreter specializing in public health, surveys, and education. With a background that includes a 40-hour training in medical interpretation, Mayssa has provided interpretation services in medical appointments, immigration and asylum interviews, school assessments, and depositions. Additionally, Mayssa holds a position as an Arabic Language Instructor at Chi-Chack LLC, teaching Levantine Arabic and contributing to lesson plan development. As a freelance Research Specialist since February 1999, Mayssa has conducted extensive research on health education topics and has been involved in designing survey tools. Mayssa earned a Master's Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the American University of Beirut.
