Tarek Albasti

Tarek Albasti is an experienced language instructor currently working at Chi-Chack LLC since October 2019 and also serving as an online Arabic teacher for Feature Languages and VL247 since January 2018 and May 2015, respectively. Previously, Tarek held the position of Head Chef at Aya's Cafe from June 2005 to October 2019, achieving a Zagat rating of “Excellent” and crafting diverse menus. Tarek has also taught Arabic at the Independent Charter School from September 2010 to June 2013, where excellent ratings were received from supervisory staff for innovative curriculum adaptations. Prior roles include Food and Beverage Manager at Hilton Inn at Penn from May 2004 to June 2005. Tarek holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification from Cabrini College and a BA Degree in Accounting from Cairo University.
