Jonathan Mota

Jonathan Mota currently serves as a Major League Coach for Infield Defense at the Chicago Cubs, a position held since March 2016. Mota's extensive experience with the Cubs includes roles such as Major League Staff Assistant and Minor League Infield Coordinator, as well as managing the Arizona Cubs 2 team and working as a Minor League coach. Additionally, Jonathan Mota contributed as a consultant for infield matters with the Lotte Giants in October and November of 2019. Before transitioning to coaching, Mota played as a minor league player for the Chicago Cubs from August 2003 to October 2015.
