Kyle Blum, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Analyst in Baseball Sciences for the Chicago Cubs, having joined the organization in April 2022 after previously holding the position of Analyst in the same field. Prior to this role, Kyle was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Neural Engineering at Northwestern University from June 2018 to April 2022. Kyle's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from both the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University School of Medicine, where studies spanned from 2012 to 2018. Earlier research experience includes roles as a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Predoctoral Fellow, Graduate Research Assistant, and Computational Neuroscience Trainee at Georgia Institute of Technology, along with undergraduate research at Washington State University. Kyle earned a Bachelor's of Science in Bioengineering from Washington State University in 2012.
