Roger Bonilla

Roger Bonilla currently serves as the Academy Assistant Coach for Chicago Fire FC, a position held since November 2025. Prior to this role, Bonilla was the Head Coach for Boys ECNL U15 & U19 at HTX Soccer from August 2022 to November 2025. From May 2019 to August 2022, Bonilla worked at Laredo Heat SC as the Youth Director of Coaching, where responsibilities included overseeing coaching education, implementing a player development curriculum, and managing Gotsport operations. Additional coaching experience includes an Assistant Coach role at Arizona Christian University in early 2021 and at Texas A&M International University from August 2019 to December 2020. Bonilla holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas A&M International University, completed in December 2020.
