Gary Tang

Gary Tang has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gary began their career in 2005 as a Lead Sales Associate at Signet, where they worked until 2010. In 2009, Gary served as an Assistant Coach/Volunteer at Soccer in the Streets. Gary then worked as a Summer Associate at Horwich Coleman Levin, LLC in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, Gary had various roles at PwC, including Winter Intern and Associate in the Financial Institutions Group. In 2011, they also worked as an Analyst at Havas for a brief period. Gary joined Baird in 2014 as an Investment Banking Analyst and later became an Investment Banking Associate in the Consumer, Technology & Services division until 2017. Gary then transitioned to Norwest Venture Partners as an Investor, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Gary is serving as Vice President at Chicago Pacific Founders since 2020.

Gary Tang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2011. Gary then pursued a Master of Arts in Accounting at the same institution from 2010 to 2011. Gary also holds additional certifications, including a Series 79 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and a CPA certification from the State of Illinois, both obtained in 2014.
