Mathew Deschamps

Mathew Deschamps is an experienced ice hockey coach and administrator with a diverse background in coaching, player development, and program management. Currently serving as an Assistant Coach for Chicago Steel in the USHL since February 2020, Deschamps has also held significant roles such as Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach at St. Lawrence University, Director of the AIDM Program and U18 Head Coach for Red Bull, and Skill Development Ambassador for Easton Hockey. Deschamps' expertise extends to international coaching with EC Red Bull Salzburg, as well as scouting and evaluation roles with Sioux Falls Stampede and USA Hockey. Educational qualifications include a degree in Public Policy and Business Administration from the University of Maine and attendance at Canterbury.
