Jim Karczewski

Jim Karczewski has over 25 years of work experience in various roles. Jim started their career in 1995 as a Developer at Perfect Software. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Software Developer at UBS, where they developed web applications for traders. Jim then worked as an Independent Software Developer from 1999 to 2001, undertaking projects for companies like XYTECH SYSTEMS, INC and ARCHSTONE COMMUNITIES, where they developed scheduling systems and online leasing applications.

From 2001 to 2002, Jim was a Software Developer at Procard, where they developed an XML file-parsing system. Jim then worked as a Software Consultant at Riverside Publishing from 2002 to 2003, where they developed an XML based testing system for standardized tests. In 2003, they worked as a Software Consultant at Avanade, where they designed and developed functional components for an online mortgage pricing application.

In 2005, Jim worked as a Software Consultant at Cook County Clerk, implementing changes in the voter registration system and resolving bugs in the legacy system. Jim has also worked as a Freelance Photographer for various media organizations, including NWIPIX, Chicago Sun-Times, and Chicago Tribune Media Group, starting from 2010 until the present.

Jim Karczewski obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Purdue University Northwest. Jim pursued this degree from the year 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1991, Jim enrolled at Madison Area Technical College where they completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science.
