Director Of Baseball Analytics at Chicago White Sox

Matt Koenig has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt began their career at the University of Illinois as a Head Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Microeconomics from 1997 to 1999. Matt then joined Geneva Capital in 2001, where they held multiple senior roles, including Director of Technology, Senior Derivatives Risk Manager, and Partner until 2016. In 2013, Matt also started working with the Chicago White Sox as a Consultant for Baseball Data and Analytics, eventually taking on the role of Director of Baseball Analytics in October 2016.

Matt Koenig attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. During their time at the university, they were enrolled in the Gies College of Business. However, it is not known whether they obtained a specific degree or field of study within the college.
