Derek Hamilton

Derek Hamilton's work experience includes being a Lead Accountant at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center since December 2022, where they previously worked as a Restaurant Cash Management Accountant since March 2018. Derek was also an Advisory Council Member at W.H. Plemmons Leader Fellow from August 2014 to May 2018. Additionally, Derek has experience as a Front Desk Assistant at Appalachian State University from February 2016 to December 2017, as well as a Restaurant Financial Reporting Intern at Chick-fil-A Corporate in May 2017. Derek also served as the Head of Statistics at High Country Grizzlies from February 2017 to May 2017. Derek held leadership positions at Phi Gamma Delta, serving as President from November 2015 to November 2016, and as Recruitment Chairman from November 2014 to November 2015. Derek worked as a Sales Intern at 1st Healthcare Payment Systems from May 2016 to August 2016. Derek's previous experiences also include being a Summer Camp Counselor at the City of Alpharetta from May 2013 to August 2015, Treasurer of the Hall Council at Cone Residence Hall from September 2014 to May 2015, and a Soccer Referee at the City of Roswell, Georgia from August 2011 to April 2015.

Derek Hamilton obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.
