Michael Winter has a diverse and extensive background in the media industry. Michael began their career at Bunim Murray Productions as a producer, working on the popular show ROAD RULES. Michael then founded their own production studio, Speedway Boogie Productions, where they developed and produced original nonfiction programming for various networks and production companies. Notable projects during this time include working with DreamWorks' POP.com and creating content for Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Paul Allen.

Michael Winter's career continued to progress as they joined NBC Sports Network as the Director of Original Programming, overseeing the launch of original programming for Comcast's Outdoor Life Network. Michael then moved on to Scripps Networks, where they served as the Director of Programming for the Home Category, focusing on HGTV and DIY brands. During their time at Scripps Networks, they created and developed the popular unscripted series MAN CAVES.

Most recently, Winter joined Chicken Soup for the Soul as the Senior Vice President of Programming and Development. In this role, they were responsible for leading creative development and programming for the media company, specializing in positive branded video content. Notably, they executive-produced Ashton Kutcher's GOING FROM BROKE unscripted series, which was the first original series launched after the acquisition of Crackle from Sony.
