Chief Executive Group and CFO Leadership Council seek an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team! This role is ideal for individuals seeking to launch a successful career in sales or business development. The SDR will be responsible for supporting our sales team and growing the business by conducting industry sector research, identifying new business opportunities, and developing compelling value propositions for client prospects. This is a remote position, but the ideal employee would be located in one of the following areas: New York Metro (NY/NJ/CT), Charleston (SC), or Nashville (TN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal staff and sales team to develop a thorough understanding of CEG product offerings to be able to strategically identify prospects and help develop a strategy for outreach.

  • Conduct research to produce qualified sales leads and develop a prospect target list.

  • Support sales outreach initiatives by creating and deploying email campaigns.

  • Become familiar with and analyze competitive landscape to understand selling environment and track competitive advertising, sponsorships, and other offerings.

  • Join sales calls and create personalized proposals with an understanding of appropriate and available inventory for all prospected clients.

  • Manage CRM (Salesforce) data.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, advertising, or communications.

  • 1-2 years in B2B sales/media or marketing experience preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and effective business writing skills.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and team player.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo is desired but not required.
