Alan Gibson

Alan Gibson is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in various roles within the ICT sector. Currently serving as the Principal Officer over ICT at the Chief State Solicitor's Office since June 2017, Alan focuses on the development of strategic ICT and legal technology, alongside business planning and programme management. Previously, Alan held positions such as Head of Information and Communications Technology at the Chief State Solicitor's Office, Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Trinity College Dublin, and IT Infrastructure Specialist at Accenture, where services were provided to the Irish police service. Additional experience includes management roles at An Garda Siochana and McCann Erickson, as well as team leadership at Hewlett-Packard. Alan holds multiple degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Technological University Dublin in management, computing, and marketing.
