Laura Sutton

Laura Sutton has extensive experience in the medical affairs field, with their most recent role being Senior Director of Medical Affairs, Respiratory at Chiesi USA, Inc. In this position, they led the development and execution of the US Respiratory Medical Affairs operating plan and team, providing medical leadership for the company's clinical, medical, and commercial development plans. Prior to this, Laura served as the Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Bellus Health and as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs and Medical Science Leader at Polarean Imaging plc. Laura also had a long tenure at GSK, where they held various positions, including Sr. Director/Portfolio Lead, US Medical Affairs and Scientific Director of Respiratory Medical Affairs. Laura Sutton attended East Carolina University from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Laura then went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1988 to 1991, where they earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. From 1992 to 1994, Laura completed their Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After that, they pursued a post-PharmD residency at UNC-Chapel Hill and Glaxo from 1994 to 1995, focusing on Respiratory and Medical Information.
