Mikayla Bozym Ph.d., Lpc, Ncc

Mikayla Bozym, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, serves as the Director of the Urgent Crisis Center and Evidence Based Practices at the Child and Family Agency of SE CT since June 2015, leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing various evidence-based practices. Mikayla has held multiple roles within the agency, including Program Coordinator and Per Diem Licensed Professional Counselor, providing trauma-informed clinical interventions and managing complex cases. In addition to current responsibilities as Adjunct Professor at Central Connecticut State University, Mikayla owns Waves of Growth Therapy, LLC, focusing on diverse client needs with a trauma-informed approach. Prior experience includes positions at Effective School Solutions, Corpus Christi Police Department, and Bayview Behavioral Hospital, complemented by an extensive educational background culminating in a Ph.D. in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior from Capella University.
