Associate Director, Program Implementation, Research & Development at Child Development Institute

Sabrina Pacheco has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sabrina began their career as a Lead Clinical Data Manager at Axiom Real-Time Metrics in 2016. From there, they worked as a Neuroinformatics Operations Manager at Sunnybrook & Baycrest Health Sciences until January 2019. In 2016, they also started a role as a Project Management & Lean Six Sigma Consultant at SP Management Consulting, which they continue to hold. In 2019, they transitioned to Carea Community Health Centre as a Manager of Clinical Services until May 2022. Currently, Sabrina is working at Child Development Institute as the Associate Director of Program Implementation, Research & Development where they lead the design and implementation of a business process redesign and manages programs and services ready for scaling.

Sabrina Pacheco's education history begins with their time at Ontario Tech University in 2023, where they pursued a degree in Non-For-Profit Leadership. Before this, they attended the Management and Strategy Institute (MSI) and studied Process Improvement, though no degree was obtained. Prior to that, Sabrina Pacheco attended Concordia University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Sabrina then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the same institution.

Alongside their formal education, Sabrina Pacheco has obtained several certifications. In January 2023, they became certified as a Business Management Essential by the Management & Strategy Institute, and they also completed a PM Foundations Course from the Project Management Institute during the same month. Additionally, in January 2023, they achieved Six Sigma Champion Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute. Other certifications include San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Ontario from the Provincial Health Services Authority in February 2021, Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from VMEdu Inc. and SCRUMstudy in February 2020, Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM CEP) from CSEP SCPE in January 2020, CSEP - CPT from CSEP SCPE in October 2019, Improving Business through a Culture of Health from Harvard University in August 2019, Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from SOCRA in September 2018, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2018. Other certifications earned before 2018 include Project Management Essentials Certified (PMEC), Six Sigma Champion Certified (SSCC), Six Sigma Lean Black Belt (SSLBB), Researcher Development Program from Sunnybrook, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), Project Management certified PMI course, and Lean Management, all obtained between 2016 and 2017.
