Chelsea Young is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a Senior Clinician and Crisis and Access Clinician at the Child & Family Center since July 2018, Chelsea has previously contributed as a Staff Therapist at Dynamic Interventions, where responsibilities included leading therapeutic groups for Autistic individuals. Chelsea's background includes roles at People Assisting The Homeless as a SAMHSA Bridges to Recovery Navigator II and at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation as a Clinical Intern, focusing on harm reduction counseling and crisis intervention for diverse populations, particularly within the LGBT community. Chelsea holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from Scripps College.
