Julia Luiza Schafer

Julia Luiza Schafer is currently working as a Program Manager for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative in Greece in partnership with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Child Mind Institute. Julia Luiza also holds the position of Associate Director of Training and Research for the same initiative. With a background in clinical psychology, Julia Luiza has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in both private practice and academic settings. Their education includes a PhD in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, as well as specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Throughout their career, Julia Luiza has focused on research in areas such as exposure to traumatic events, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, psychological assessment, and emotion regulation.
