Denise Biben

Chief Administrative Officer (cao) at Childhelp®

Denise Biben has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles.

Starting in 1993, Biben worked at the Family Crisis Center/Health Access as a Clinical Director, overseeing all clinical services for a residential program. Denise improved youth outcomes and reduced the use of restrictive interventions.

In 1997, they became the Program Director of Outpatient Programs at Health Access, where they directed multiple outpatient programs and implemented new initiatives to increase program size and improve systems.

From 1998 to 1999, Biben served as the Director of Program Operations at Health Access, where they provided leadership for all agency programs, implemented site systems, and developed a new family preservation program.

In 2000, Biben transitioned to Boys Town and held several positions over the years. As the Program Operations Manager, they expanded family preservation services and achieved certification as a Boys Town affiliate site.

Biben moved up to the role of Regional Director, providing internal management consulting and supervision to Boys Town affiliate sites, improving cost recovery and model implementation.

In 2006, they took on the position of Site Development Director, leading a research project and serving as the Interim Executive Director at an affiliate site.

Biben then became a Fidelity Consultant at Boys Town, defining the role of Program Fidelity and ensuring effective program implementation and staff training and development.

From 2014 to 2015, Biben was the Senior Director of Fidelity Operations at Boys Town, coordinating the implementation and performance of Boys Town models of care with affiliate sites.

Finally, Biben joined Childhelp® in 2018 as the Chief Program Officer, where they provided leadership for multiple programs and transformed program culture to align with strategic initiatives. Denise then transitioned to the role of Chief Administrative Officer, leading the development of organizational systems and business process improvements.

Denise Biben received their education from 1988 to 1991 at Centenary College of Louisiana, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Denise then attended Louisiana Tech University from 1991 to 1993 and earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. In terms of certifications, Denise obtained a license as a Professional Counselor from the State of Louisiana in August 2009, and they subsequently became a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in the State of Nebraska in October 2011. Denise also holds the certification of Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor from the State of Arizona, which they obtained in December 2019.
