Julie Ung

Julie Ung has a diverse work experience history. Julie began their career as a TAL High School Mentorship Coordinator at REACH! Asian/Pacific Islander Retention & Recruitment Center in 2017, where they coordinated mentorship programs. From 2017 to 2020, they also worked as an Information Service Desk Worker at Doe and Moffitt Libraries. Starting in 2018, Julie served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology until 2020. In 2019, they took on the role of Director of Recruitment/Internal Affairs at REACH! Asian/Pacific Islander Retention & Recruitment Center. In 2021, Julie was a Health Equity Scholar at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research and a Polling and Analytics Intern at The Hub Project. Later that year, they became a Student Representative for the Public Health Faculty Hiring Committee at Long Beach City College. Currently, Julie is working as a Program Data Specialist at ChildNet Youth and Family Services.

Julie Ung attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science. Julie also pursued a Global Public Health Minor at the same institution. Recently, they obtained additional certifications in Database Design and Database Programming with SQL from Oracle in June 2021. In November 2020, they completed a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing through Coursera.
