Alex Coburn

Alex Coburn is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in growth strategies and business development, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Growth for Europe at Sage since July 2016, overseeing initiatives across multiple European markets. Prior roles include Business Executive Director for International Markets, where responsibility included a £700m revenue portfolio, and M&A Integration Director managing global integrations. Coburn has also held positions in strategic business roles at TD Direct Investing and NatWest, leading significant transformations and P&L management. In addition, Coburn contributes as Vice Chairman for the board of Children North East, providing governance and business strategy support. Academic qualifications include an Investment Management Certificate from CFA Society of the UK and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Leeds.
