Samuel Armen is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School since September 2021, and as a Guest Lecturer at Russian-Armenian University since April 2018, where Samuel teaches creative writing to Linguistics students. With a strong commitment to youth development, Samuel has volunteered with the Children of Armenia Fund since December 2012, focusing on creative writing curricula and media outreach. Previously, Samuel worked as an English/AVID Teacher and AVID Coordinator at Cobble Hill High School from March 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing an AVID program and designing online resources during the pandemic. Additional experience includes consulting on SEO and social media for Brooklyn Eagle and quality assurance roles at ScrollMotion. Samuel holds a Master’s degree in Education in Adolescent English from Hunter College and a Bachelor of the Arts in English Language and Literature from St. John's University.
