Atenedoro Gonzalez

Atenedoro Gonzalez currently serves as General Counsel and Deputy Director at Children's Arts and Science Workshops, providing legal advice and collaborating with the leadership team on policy development. Previously, Atenedoro held the position of General Counsel and Policy Director for the New York City Council, advising Council Member Feliz and co-directing the Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus. As a Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC, Atenedoro specialized in advocacy against landlords in housing court. Additional experience includes roles as a Law Clerk, Legal Intern, and various judicial internships, all contributing to a robust legal background. Atenedoro holds a Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree from John Jay College (CUNY).
