Melissa Mills Sphr

Melissa Mills, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Melissa'smost recent position is as the Director of Human Resources at the Children's Home Society of North Carolina since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Precision Fabrics Group for 11 years, starting as a Sr. Human Resources Specialist in July 2011 and later becoming the Human Resources and Safety Manager in January 2014 until November 2022. Before joining Precision Fabrics Group, Melissa was the Human Resources Manager at ABCO Automation, Inc. from June 2008 to July 2011. Melissa also served as a Human Resources Generalist at The Education Center from October 2005 to June 2008 and as a Human Resources Coordinator at Avery Dennison / L&E Packaging from November 2000 to October 2005.

Melissa Mills, SPHR, SHRM-SCP obtained a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Melissa further pursued their education by earning a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, attending from 2016 to 2017.
