Tom Twinem

Tom Twinem is vice president and chief compliance officer of Children’s Wisconsin, the only health system in Wisconsin that is 100% dedicated to kids and teens. In his role, Tom is responsible for leadership of the Corporate Compliance team and also serves as Privacy Officer and Research Integrity Officer.

Tom joined Children’s in 1997 as the only Internal Auditor. Over the years, his role expanded as Children’s and health care complexities grew. Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance were combined and Tom became Director of Corporate Compliance. In 2019, to better reflect the evolving scope and complexity of his role, Tom was named Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, he is also responsible for compliance with civil rights regulations for patients and families who receive services or who utilize Children’s Wisconsin services, and supports the Legal and Government Affairs teams by leading enterprise risk management activities.
