Pilar Padilla

Pilar Padilla has an extensive work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Pilar is currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Children's Institute since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Communications Manager at the same organization starting from June 2021.

Pilar also worked at the American Board of Internal Medicine, where they served as the Interim Communications Advisor for DEI Initiatives from March 2022 to July 2022. At the same organization, they held the position of Communications Integration Manager from October 2016 to June 2021, where they were responsible for enhancing the brand's communication and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Before that, Pilar worked as a Marketing & Media Associate at Esperanza from August 2014 to October 2016. Pilar'sresponsibilities included strategic marketing initiatives, social media outreach, and copywriting.

Pilar began their career as a Website Editor at hibu in January 2014. Pilar also gained experience as an Intern at Art Sanctuary, Philadelphia, in 2012.

During their time at the University of Pennsylvania- King's Court English College House, Pilar served as the Head House Manager and Perspectives in Humanities Manager from September 2011 to May 2013. Pilar also worked as a CWiC Student Assistant from September 2010 to May 2013.

In 2009, Pilar worked as an Assistant and Speech Writer at the Summer Speech & Debate Camp at The University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Technical Crew Member at Viva Los Niños in Ysleta Independent School District in 2008.

Pilar Padilla also has additional certifications, including a Management Accelerator from the Hispanic & Latino Leadership Academy at McKinsey & Company, which they obtained in October 2022. Pilar also obtained certifications in Business Strategy and Problem Solving from McKinsey & Company in August 2022 and June 2022, respectively.
