Anna González Manjón is a dedicated project developer currently contributing to the Kilian Jornet Foundation since August 2024, focusing on conservation initiatives for mountain environments. With a strong scientific foundation, Anna previously pursued a postdoctoral research role at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and at the Children's Medical Research Institute, where involvement in the Genome Integrity Research Unit led to the awarding of the Human Frontiers Science Program Postdoctoral Fellowship. Anna's academic journey includes a PhD candidate position and undergraduate research roles at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, as well as research experience at PRBB and FUNDACIÓN JIMENEZ DIAZ. Anna holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry and a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, complemented by participation in the Homeward Bound STEMM Women in Leadership Program.
