Rick Lytton

Rick Lytton has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Rick started their career in the U.S. Coast Guard as an Electronics Technician and Chief Electronics Technician, where they installed and maintained various communication, navigation, and network systems. During this time, they also supervised project installations and maintenance activities.

Rick later moved on to Cisco Systems, where they held multiple roles including Systems Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and Senior Professional Services Manager. In these positions, they provided technical guidance, drove revenue through account planning, and managed large teams of resources.

Currently, Rick is working at Children's Mercy Hospital as the Director of Network & Unified Communications. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing various network infrastructure and telecommunications functions, such as LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN, cabling, data center operations, and audiovisual technologies.
