Alex Duvelius

Alex Duvelius has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Alex worked as an Associate Director of Prospect Research at Children's National Health System, where they identified and built a funder pipeline for fundraisers and implemented reporting metrics. At DC College Access Program, they served as a Sr. Associate Director of Development and collaborated with senior management to create a stewardship plan for prospective donors. As a Development Director at National Capital Area Council - BSA, they raised $3.7 million through special event fundraisers. Alex also worked as a Senior Manager of Development at the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care, overseeing the implementation of a CRM platform and managing funding requests. Alex also worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington as a Sponsorship & Corporate Relations Manager and Development Associate, and at Adoptions Together as a Volunteer. Alex'searly work experience includes a role as a Site Operations Specialist at Altarum.

Alex Duvelius completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Maryland University of Integrative Health in 2013 - 2014. Prior to that, Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Miami University between 2006 - 2009. In addition, Alex also obtained a certification in Raiser's Edge bCRE-PRO from Blackbaud in 2017.
