Kerstin Hildebrandt-Abdikarim

Kerstin Hildebrandt-Abdikarim has extensive experience in research administration and healthcare. Kerstin started their career in 1983 at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they directed research programs and clinical operations. Kerstin then worked at Georgetown University Medical Center as the Administrative Director of the General Clinical Research Center. In 2001, they joined Children's National Hospital as the Vice President of Research Administration. Kerstin also served as a Freelance Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2003 to 2005. In 2018, they became a Committee Member at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where they assessed the capital needs of the National Institutes of Health Main Campus.

Kerstin Hildebrandt-Abdikarim has a Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, which they completed in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research Administration from The George Washington University in 2009. In 1982, they received an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medical Technology/Technologist from Bunker Hill CC. Additionally, they hold certifications in Introduction to Incident Command System from FEMA Emergency Management Institute, Lean Healthcare Certificate from Belmont University, Massey Graduate School of Business, and Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research from the National Institutes of Health.
