Jill Updike

Jill Updike has diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Jill is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Children's National Hospital since October 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Total Rewards at the same organization from August 2022 to October 2023.

Before joining Children's National Hospital, Jill worked as AVP/Corporate Director of Total Rewards at Phoebe Putney Health System from 2020 to 2022. Jill also held the position of Director of Total Rewards at The University of Maryland Medical System from 2015 to 2019.

Jill'searlier experiences include working as an HR Consultant at The HR Team from 2011 to 2015, as Director of Compensation & Benefits at Bravo Health from 2007 to 2008, and as Manager of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS at Honeywell from 2003 to 2007. Jill started their career in the field of human resources as a Manager of Human Resources at Corvis Corporation from 2000 to 2003 and as a Sr. Compensation Specialist at Rockwell Collins from 1996 to 1999.

Jill's professional journey began in 1993 when they served as a Sr. HR Administrator at Harris Corporation. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise and knowledge in various aspects of human resources, particularly in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and HR consulting.

Jill Updike holds a Master's degree in I/O Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. Jill also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Penn State University.
