Maryrose Franko

Maryrose Franko, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director of The Health Research Alliance, a position held since September 2015. In addition to this role, Maryrose is involved with the Center for Open Science as a Member-at-Large and Chair of the Board of Directors since February 2017. Maryrose also contributes to the Children's Science Center as a member of the STEM Advisory Committee since 2010. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Science Program Manager at HHMI-Janelia Research Campus from September 2013 to September 2015 and as a Senior Program Officer at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from 1995 to September 2013. Maryrose holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from John Carroll University.
