Stephanie Hammerk

Stephanie Hammerk is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in providing therapeutic services to children and youth. Currently serving as Program Supervisor at ChildSavers since May 2015, Stephanie advocates for client needs and offers outpatient counseling through various expressive therapies, addressing trauma-related issues. Prior to this role, Stephanie was a Crisis Intervention Clinician at Horizon Behavioral Health, where responsibilities included conducting crisis assessments and developing treatment plans for children facing diverse crises. Earlier experience as a Mental Health Therapist at Gulf Coast Youth Services involved conducting assessments, managing crises, and leading therapeutic groups for adolescent clients. Stephanie holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
