Darragh Whelan

Darragh Whelan has a diverse work experience in various roles within the software engineering field. Darragh is currently Vice President of Engineering at Chime since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mastercard where they held positions such as Vice President of Software Engineering, Director of Software Engineering, Manager of Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer from 2014 to 2022. Before their time at Mastercard, Darragh was a Software Engineer at Oracle from 2011 to 2014. Darragh also worked at Druid Software as a Software Engineer in 2011 and at Oracle as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2010.

Darragh Whelan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Systems Development from the Waterford Institute of Technology. Darragh attended the institute from the year 2007 to 2011.
