Eva Kandarpa Behrend

Eva Kandarpa Behrend has an extensive work experience in the field of communications. Eva currently holds the position of VP, Communications at Chime, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the VP, Global Communications at Gopuff from February 2021 to October 2022. Eva also served as the Head of Corporate Communications at Quibi from February 2020 to January 2021. Before that, they worked in Corporate Communications at SpaceX from July 2017 to February 2020. Eva's earlier experience includes serving as the Communications Director, Western Region at Uber from May 2014 to July 2017. Eva also held the role of Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, and Media Relations Lead at Kearns & West from July 2013 to May 2014. Eva began their career as the Communications Director for Councilwoman Jan Perry, City of Los Angeles, where they held the positions of Communications Director from January 2006 to June 2013 and Press Deputy from October 2001 to December 2005.

Eva Kandarpa Behrend has a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley. Eva also holds a Master's degree in Communications from the University of Southern California.
