Parin Shah

Parin Shah is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and online security. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Chime since July 2021, Parin is focused on building machine learning platforms and deploying fraud and risk models. Prior experience includes leadership roles at NuData Security, where innovative ML products were developed for online security, and consulting at KPMG across various industries. Parin has also contributed to education as a Lead Instructor in Data Science at BrainStation and a mentor at SharpestMinds, aiding aspiring data scientists. Parin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Statistics and Computer Science electives from The University of British Columbia.
