Gusti Zeiner

Co-Founder at Chimera Bioengineering

Gusti Zeiner has a strong background in bioengineering, scientific research, and academia. They co-founded Chimera Bioengineering in 2015 and currently hold a leadership position in the company. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist at Agilent Technologies from 2010 to 2015. Before entering the industry, Zeiner was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in Microbiology and Immunology. In this role, they focused on studying the interactions between the parasite Toxoplasma gondii and gene regulatory networks in its host cell.

Gusti Zeiner completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Oregon from 1991 to 1995. This was followed by pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at UCLA from 1997 to 2003.
