Lauren Pappas

Lauren Pappas, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources across various industries. Currently, they are the Director of Human Resources at Chimes, where they provide advice and counsel to management while managing employee relations issues. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Towson University and as the Director of Human Resources at The Maryland School for the Blind, where they managed all HR functions and supervised a team of specialists. Lauren has also held roles as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist at The Maryland School for the Blind, a Sr. HR Representative (contract) at General Dynamics Robotic Systems, a Human Resources Manager at DHL Global Mail, and a Human Resources Manager (contract) at Evolver. Lauren Pappas, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication/Business from Towson University. Lauren also obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from the same institution. In addition, they have certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, as well as the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and SPHR certifications from SHRM and HRCI respectively.
